Ok...many of you know how much I love to scrapbook...and I do still love my books that have been completed. But I spent the last few days learning the tricks and tools of digital scrapbooking...and yes...I think I have been converted. Of course...it is like learning a new language and I still have so much to learn...but I love it.
You are probably asking yourself what in the world am I going to do my closet full of scrapbooking materials? No...I am not giving up my traditional method...I guess you could say that I have found a new hobby...or at least I am learning a new hobby! I have completed a few pages and I am having fun learning how to make things look as nice as my traditional pages.

Something to smile about
Hello all...I can't belive that my baby is now 3...I guess I can't call him a baby anymore. We often call him Little man...and he is such a character. He loves teenage mutant ninja turtles...so we had turtle cupcakes for his party. We had friends and family over to celebrate with him...here are a few pictures you can enjoy!

What a day!
Hello all...what a day it has been. It started with a fun visit to all the doctors that take care of me. So my first office visit was that one appointment that you dread making but have to make EVERY year...you know what I mean girls. That every so 'comfy' visit for the 'yearly' exam. Of course the doctors and nurses are great, very upbeat, and 'cheery'. Words like...'Come right in', 'How have you been feeling', 'I need you to put this on'...'the doctor will be right in' and the small talk continues through the exam. But during the visit I am thinking to myself what they should really say...so here is my take on what really happens...
They call and remind you to make an appointment. After putting it off as long as you can...you break down and make the appointment and have to wait/anticipate the visit that you have 4 months from the time you call. When that day finally arrives...you dread waking up, but you do...Take a shower and get all dressed up...not really sure why since you end up wearing a robe and a cloth. Anyway...you finally arrive at the doctors office...and they actually want you to pay for your visit. Of course you pay and then sit in the waiting room. The 'cheery' nurse comes to get you so that she can write down your weight (always fun) and all the other junk they ask. Then you head down to the room. (Remember this is what should really happen) You walk in the room and the nurse says...'it is cold in here, but you have to put this on, sit on this cold table in the middle of the room while you stare at that mirror. And you can have this thin sheet to cover up with. The doctor will be here in a bit'. Then you sit...cold and uncomfortable...waiting patiently. The doctor comes in...normal small talk...'ok, time for the exam, this will be cold, uncomfortable, it may hurt, you will feel pressure, and I will just continue chatting with you. Oh yeah...my hands are probably cold as well.
YEAH!!! What a fun visit...I can't wait until next year!
It really has been a long day...I feel like this day has lasted for about 48 hours...of course that is probably because I did not go to sleep until 3:30 am Tuesday morning...the alarm went off at 6:45 am...and my day is just now winding down...almost midnight. So I guess it has been quite a day.
I was able to go to Big Girls school to teach a little science...it was really fun...they are studying plants and today we did several experiments. The kids seemed to enjoy it...and I always have a blast.
One more thing...my little Man is now 3!!! I can hardly believe it. He is growing up so fast...loves TMNT, spider-man, polly pockets (sorry hubby), Kai Lan, Spongebob, and just can't get enough of Scooby Doo. What a variety, right? At least he has a broad taste! So the party is this weekend and we are doing it teenage mutant ninja turtle TMNT style. Little Man can't wait...already discussed who he wants to be here and what they are going to do and eat! Pizza all the way...and green cupcakes in honor of the turtles.
So as many of you know...my days just never seem to slow down...not even when I am feeling a little under the weather (STILL)...
