More than we expected!

Well, I mentioned before that we were waiting for a white Christmas.  We got more than we bargained for!  It was incredible.  Beautiful snow...thick snow...really cold...and no electricity.  I am sure people up north are used to that kind of weather.  But we were not quite prepared for the lack of lights and 'electronics'.  The kids had a blast playing in the snow and playing cards with Nana...but at 5pm it was dark.  We went to bed one night at 8pm.  All of us...not just the kids.  So the snow was great...we missed electricity for 2 days...but we did get home.  Check this out!

Expecting!

NO...not that type of expecting...but I have your attention.  We are expecting a white Christmas!  Yea!  We had a blast last night, we have shopped until the last minute, and we have stuffed ourselves with yummy food.  Santa came last night and we remember just how blessed we are.  The kids are overwhelmed with all the wonderful new goodies they have.  So I will just let the pictures do the talking!

Soccer is in full 'kick'

Hello all...well we have started soccer season and are going strong.  All three kiddos are playing, both of us are coaching, and wouldn't you know that their first games were all at 9 a.m.  So I had to make a decision.  I would get to see little man since I coach him, Daddy would get to see big girl since he coaches...so the camera went to my sweet little princess...and boy is she tough.  Check out some of these shots...

It's Official!

OK...you 3...at least I am hoping I have at least 3 people to read this.  So I have to say that the first 3 weeks of school have been crazy.  I went from being up until 1 a.m. or later sometimes...to wanting to go to bed at 7 p.m. because I get up so early.  I am not a morning person...but I am making it.  It seems that I have less time to do my own thing...like read and play on the computer.  I haven't scrapped a page in months...maybe the schedule will get better.  But, I guess it is worth it...check this out:

Doesn't that look nice. It is official...I have a name plate.  I have worked at college before, even taught...but this is crazy.  I am a college professor...can you believe it.  Yes, it is different, it is hard...but I am having a blast.  It's just the early rising that is hard...5:15 comes really early.

So the kids are also having a blast.  So far, they love their teachers...and the girls are sporting their fancy messenger bags (not from Justice...but from MOMMY)...check these out:

I guess you all know that my kids are growing up...my big girl is in 5th grade...is that even possible.  Anyway...the rule is that the locker 'must' be decorated...so we spent the $$$ and look at this crazy mess:

Yes...just in case you are wondering...the chandelier comes on when she opens her locker.  Is this not crazy.  H...be thankful you have boys...I doubt they will need all the 'accessories'...EVER.  We are so accessorized around this house it is ridiculous.  Although...it is pretty cute huh!  Notice the curtains, flower magnet, mirror of course, and the pen/pencil holders.  CRAZY!

OK...one last thing.  I know I have already showed a few of you...I am just so proud that this was my work...even if hubby says it looks 'bowlegged'...is that spelled right?  That is a wierd word...but anyway...the girls and I love it.  So here you go:

I guess that catches you up a bit...I will just end with a few more pics of the kiddos:

Wedding Bliss

OK...so I still have photos to show of our trip...but I thought I would take a break and post a few pics of the wedding we were able to attend.  It was such a sweet wedding and the bride was a beauty.  We are friends of the groom and his family is precious to us.  The girls were so excited...my sweet girl just wanted to see the 'princess bride' and the big girl was waiting for the 'marriage kiss'.

The kids were all dressed up and what a sight they were.  The bride a groom looked amazing as well as all their friends and family.  We are so blessed to have people like this in our lives...my kids even call the parents Aunt T and Uncle T...and they love their 3 kiddos (well...not really 'kids anymore).

Because they looked so precious...I thought I would share a few photos...enjoy.

Home Sweet Home

Thank Goodness we are home!  Can I say...I love my bed, I love my floor, I love my couch, I love my tv, I love running water and modern plumbing, and I love love love my potty!  Take a look at the wonder place the hubby fixed up for us.  (no kidding aside...it was actually VERY comfy)

My home for the week.

My kitchen and dining room for the week.

My couch...OUCH!

I didn't attempt taking a picture of the 'bathroom' we used...and I use the word bathroom with sarcasm!  Showers were only $5 a pop...and big girl had to pay as well.  So $15 every other day to smell good for a few hours...so worth it.

Look how much fun the kids had:
